2:37 Am......Honey what the heck was that?

Let me just tell you it was the loudest longest lasting craziest thunderstorm ever !!!!!!!!!!!

It has been going on and off since 2:37am this morning. NOT HEATHER FRIENDLY !!!!!

I was doing an open house today and needless to say, not a single person showed up. It was okay though since I had enough follow-up work to keep me busy. We showed 2 different sets of people homes this evening, I think we walked through 12 homes and I must say my legs are tired.

I was so excited about this 4 day weekend because it is good for family bonding and putting up autum decorations!!! But it will have to wait because little man and I will be haning out in the office for the next three days cause I am a sucker. Many agents in the office are scheduled floor time and want to take little vacations over the long weekend so naturally I said "sure I would love to have your floor time". You never know, all it takes is that one call and wham.....new client.

Speaking of new client, I have a sweet 91 year old man as my newest client and I will be listing his property. It's about an acre and 1/2 and it has a home and fruit trees on it. I am hoping to evaluate in the next few weeks and get a peek at the inside of the home so we can finalize the price. I plan on listing it between 199,900.00 and 250,000.00 depending on the condition of the house. So we will see. I am looking forward to handling the listing of land, as my experence has been on the buying side of land.

Have a wonderful Friday everyone !!

Go Diego Go.....Live

What an experience this show was. It lasted about 1 1/2 hours and it was very entertaining. I thought Steven might think it was a little childish, however, he loved it!!! He danced and sang and shouted, and growled, and clapped. It was a lot of fun and Steven and I are both glad that Scott suprised us with such a wonderful family bonding event. Here is some video from the show, and a few pictures. Our camera just wasn't taking good pictures of the show. I highly recommend this show for kids of ALL ages. It's well worth the price of admission.

Enjoy

Hi Grandma and Grandpa

Thank you for all of my cool school clothes. I am wearing my new shirt to school today and tonight when we go to see Go Diego Go. I will let you know how great the show was. Have a great day !!!

Time to show a house

I must say that Steven gets soooo excited to show homes. He came rushing out of his room this afternoon all dressed and ready to sell a house.

It took 3 hours and several houses but our client did find "the one" and let me tell you it is downright fantastic !!!! It has 110,000.00 in upgrades that are free. I would have loved to purchase this home. 2700 sq feet of luxury. Apparently the original buyer purchased the lot and the plans with all of the upgrades including a pool with two waterfalls going into it and then at the moment of truth, the financing just didn't come through so the builder was stuck with the house and wanted to undload it quick. This is a $400,000.00 + home priced at $299,909.00 Our clients are the first back up offer on the home so if the original offer can't qualify for financing it will go to our clients. Cross your fingers as this family is just neat. They have 15 grandchildren in town and they all love their grandma and grandpa and visit all the time. Anyway here is the house and the park just across the street.

Steven is pretty proud of himself and made it clear that the offer extended by the family for us to come over for a bbq and a swim was accepted. As for Scott and I we are pretty excited to have sold another home (we hope) and we look forward to selling another 1 or two this week.

What a day

Do you every wonder how you can pack sooooo much into a day?

Our day has been soooo jammed packed all day......... non-stop up until this very moment. Scott and I managed to view 21 houses in 3 hours. Attend a meeting at the office, hold two phone meetings, computer research for two homes, and a Dr. Appointment. Oh Yeah and pick up the car from the dealer as it had an oil change and bath. Nope not a typo, it is really 21 houses. We have an investor looking to continue flipping so we had to check out the inventory.

Steven has been perfect at school. I am just loving his teacher and Steven's attitude. Steven really enjoys 2nd grade so far and I hope his happiness continues.

Right now my men are coloring and watching a little tv. That Hannah Montana and Zack and Cody are a real kick. Next Tuesday evening we get to go to the Fresno Savemart center to watch Go Diego Go live. oooohhhhhh. Should be fun.

Well I have a date with the darn treadmill thats all for now. Have a great day

It's 5:51 am and if feel this tap... tap... tap...

I awake from blissfull sleep and pry one eye open to see our fully dressed child smiling in front of me. He was so excited to let me know that he was up and dressed, made his bed, opened his blinds and was ready for breakfast. And I thought I was exciting about Steven going back to school. I would have shared in his joy and excitement a little bit more at 6:30am when the alarm was to go off but I gave my best one eyed smile and all was right with the world. We met Steven's teacher and found his desk. He has 3 desk buddies and he likes them very much. Steven told the teacher to call him Steve cause that is what his grandpa calls himself and he only answers to Steeeeeeven when grandma is yelling at him for something. :) Steven loves all of the fun bright colors and posters in his classroom.

Getting ready for 2nd grade

Steven is starting 2nd grade in the morning and is very very very excited to get to school, he even offered to go to bed at 8:00pm rather the 8:30pm to get lot's of extra rest so he is ready to meet all of the kids in his class and start making friends. I guess I better enjoy the excitement while I can.

Thanks to grandma and grandpa Steven has a great new school wardrobe and he is excited to show off his new duds. We have been hovering around 100 degrees this week but over all our summer was much more mild then last year.

Steven got a new bed this summer and is loving it. I'm loving it too cause it is much easier to snuggle in the middle of the night and read at bedtime. Here is a picture.

Baby Shower

Today was another busy day. Steven and I worked at the office and showed a home. Monday we are showing a home and listing a property. Here are a couple of pictures from the baby shower Steven and I enjoyed. There was so much food at this beautiful event that what is shown above is just one table of food.

What have we been up to you ask...

We have been very busy with our business. This weekend Steven and I agreed to work the office so he is busy with his PS2 and I am busy learning about the blog world. We sold a house yesterday and I am so glad as this is a second buyer of ours that has made an offer on this particular house. If all goes well we hope to close in 30 days. I will be showing property on Sunday and Monday for two more clients and it should go well. We sent out 437 flyers to apartment complexes in Lemoore this past week and we have another 200 for Hanford and 500 for Visalia. We are trying to stager them so we don't get bombarded with clients all at once..

Our weather cooled of the the 80's early this week and it was a nice change from the 100's. We are looking forward to seeing the meteor shower tonight it sounds like it will be a great show.

Steven starts second grade on Thursday and he is sooooo excited to hang out with people his own age. He has decided that he loves going to Hispanic baby showers because there is lots of food, presents, cake, and KIDS. I can't wait until he discovers Hispanic weddings.......:)
