Little boys and shovels

So Steven got home from school with a ton of energy and I had a ton of work to do so the perfect answer was go outside and play. Steven has a little friend named Ethan that lives on the other side of the wood fence and often times they talk back and forth and play ball over the fence. When the strong male adults are home they just lift the boys over the fence to the other and the two can actually play face to face. Anyway back to the story......Scott was not here to lift Steven over the fence and Ethan's dad was not home to receive so the two boys got creative. Yes you guessed it from the title didn't you? The boys each decided to grab a shovel and dig their way under the fence so they can "just peak at each other". The truth is they were digging a very big and deep hole so they can take turns crawling under the fence to the other side. Not such a bad idea.............did I mention that Ethan has a dog?...........on second thought not such a good idea. I was going to sneak up on them and take some video but the camera battery was dead.

Well I am off to rest because.........This weekend is the big Halloween Decoration Event at our house and I am going to need a whole lot of rest.

Star Student Again ?????

Wow Steven was Star Student again.....that is two times in one month and I got a call from his teacher just to tell me how awesome he was at school today. This is a parents dream I tell ya. We were so proud of our little man that we decided to celebrate with an Icee, after all you can get a bag of popcorn and an Icee for just $1.oo at Target. Our little man turned into the rotten boy from hell after a good 6 drinks. Repeat after me...... Star Student goooood......ICEE very very very very very bad!!!! From now on it will be cold hard cash for star student status at school.

Lesson 1243 learned. Can't wait to see what lesson 1244 is....

"Mom it looks like fall threw up all over our house"

Can I just tell you that I LOVE AUTUM!!!! Steven and I had a great time decorating the house last weekend after unloading all of the good ole bengies full of decorations which caused Steven to bust out with .... "Mom it looks like fall threw up all over our house". This weekend we made a boat load of candles which was loads of fun but I forgot to take pictures. You all asked for it so here are some pictures of our handy work. I would put them together in really cool layouts like my dear scrapper friends, but I am clueless on how to do that. Enjoy
p.s. our comforter set looks really ugly in these pictures, it is actually very pretty with autum leaves on it.....so use your imagination :)

Time to create

These are strawberry shortcakes created with love out of moonsand .
Steven and Kayla worked hard to create many things with the moonsand but they felt only these were blog worthy. Enjoy

We all had fun playing movie scene it and eating taco's.
Steven and I got to enjoy a day of candle making and relaxing and it was much needed. In the morning though it's back to work.

Another happy buyer

Another happy buyer. I am excited to say that Steven and I found this house over the weekend for our buyers and they fell in love with it when Scott took them to see it today. It is a pretty sweet deal 80k in upgrades and it looks like we are getting it for 310k rather then the 435k asking price (ya just gotta love a buyers market !!) it was built spring of 2007. We should have confirmation on Friday of this week. We decided to celebrate with Baskin Robbins cause rocky road was calling our names.
I didn't get to put out my fall decor over the weekend so I may tackle that project in the morning before I head out to the office. I'll let ya know how that goes, it feels weird to put fall decor up in the house when it is 96 degrees outside during the day and 70 degrees at night.
Well time to do some research for some clients we got today then off to bed.

Moon Sand Rocks

Moon Sand is the coolest stuff ever. We get hours of fun out of this stuff and it really doesn't dry out. Steven makes some cool creations. Here is a creation he maid with the new glitter moon sand he got from grandma and grandpa. It vacuums up real well and doesn't stick to our hands. No bad smell either. Thanks grandma and grandpa.

whew ....what a weekend

I must say little guy and I worked our buns off these last 5 days. We spent 5 hours a the office each day (exluding today... he was in school and I was at the office) and 5 hours each day viewing homes for our clients. We had 104 + temps as well. Scott is out showing our clients what we Steven and I found over the weekend and it looks like we did a great job and we will most likely put an offer in tonight on one of them. wooohooo. Today I procured a new client while at the office and we are going to evaluate her home tomorrow evening and see if the market can bare what she wants to sell it for. Cross your fingers.

Tonight we are having navy beans and ham soup for dinner...yes homeade....buy me....at stevens request. It sure smells good and it looks like it should...I hope it tastes good or I will never ever hear the end of it from my little food critic.

Steven had yet another perfect day at school. Thank heavens we are not doing the Chuck E Cheese for perfect days anymore because one of us would have to get a job there to support the reward. :)
